Re: Labour leadership battle
The Secretary of State responsible for the leak who agreed to leak the memo says the memo was false.

The civil service do not say that every word was independently confirmed and verified and say some of it was lost in translation.

Sturgeon herself has nothing to nothing to gain from saying she wanted cameron as prime minister.

So
1. The person who agreed the leak says its not true
2. The civil service say some of the conversation was lost in translation
3. Sturgeon had no political reason to say it

And yet here you are desperate for it to be true,

Most odd.

There seems to be much you are not sure about

So regardless of authenticity you now agree that the document does say what I suggested it did even though two posts ago you said it didn't!

And you also agree with me that Alastair Carmichael is a proven liar which is hardly something one might say to defend either him or his party ?

Only that it's false, see this tweet plus the civil service say some of it was lost in translation.

So from defending the LibDems you say I am attacking the SNP ?

The document does claim does it not that Sturgeon said she would prefer David Cameron as PM ?

It also claims does it not that she didn't think Ed Miliband was PM material ?

Re: Labour leadership battle
No the leaked document doesn't say that.

It's remarkable that you're son blinded by your hatred of the SNP.

Take some bromide dear fellow as your stress is making you excitable

I said nothing of the sort beyond two indisputable facts

The leaked document says Nicola Sturgeon said it

Alastair Carmichael is a proven liar

The liberals. Sturgeon has proven she didn't say it and yet you insist she did. Most odd.

Why would she tell the French of all people she didn't want labour to win? It totally went against what she was saying publicly.

She's not stupid or indiscreet.

The lib Demi's tried to do dirty tricks and backfired,

Not sure why you're so desperate to defend them.

Re: Labour leadership battle

But Carmichael denied ever seeing the document so presumably is in no position to determine the authenticity of its contents

Either way, he is a proven liar whose word cannot be trusted and the FM is at the very least embarrassed by the contents of the document

"Details of that account are not correct"

Not sure what's so hard to understand here.

He's wrong.

She's in the right.

So Carmichael has admitted to fabricating a diplomatic document of a meeting between the Scottish FM and the French Ambassador which didn't take place or just the dialogue between them?

So Sturgeon says one thing and the French Ambassador says different.

Who do we believe?

Re: Labour leadership battle
He's is what the French Consul-General heard:

'The Ambassador also had a truncated meeting with the FM (FM running late after a busy Thursday…). Discussion appears to have focused mainly on the political situation, with the FM stating that she wouldn’t want a formal coalition with Labour; that the SNP would almost certainly have a large number of seats; that she had no idea ‘what kind of mischief’ Alex Salmond would get up to; and confessed that she’d rather see David Cameron remain as PM (and didn’t see Ed Miliband as PM material).'

Seems plain enough.

Re: Labour leadership battle
Carmichael doesn't admit it's false. Read it carefully.

Why do you care, the election is over?
